Unlike most other courts, Family Court sessions are secret, so reporters and the general public are not allowed to see and hear for themselves Cholakis' questionable judicial temperament.

There are many first-hand reports of Cholakis' unprofessional conduct. Some are presented here, but there are surely many others. We encourage people who have experienced the dark side of Judge Cholakis to share their stories here, in complete anonymity.

Cholakis is running for re-election this year, (Nov. 6, 2012) and the more voters are aware of her terrible record, the less likely it will be that Rensselaer County families and children will have to endure 10 more years of this unprofessional judge.

What people think of Judge Kiki Cholakis

It takes just a Google search to find out what people think of Judge Kiki Cholakis. There are several videos on Youtube complete with the audio recordings of her voice yelling at parents who came before her court.

Amy O'Connor is going to bring dignity and respect back to family court. Judge Walsh never has to resort to abusing the folk appearing before her.

Kicking "Kiki" Cholakis OUT is the MOST important thing voters must hear and they will. I get a stomach -ache seeing her posters. "RE-elect?" they read. She was appointed by Gov. George Pataki. She is inept, impulsive, combative and verbally abusive. She could and hasn't ever filled the shoes of Hon., Christain Hummel whome she suceeded because he was appointed to Surrogate Court. She is not, nor never deserves to step back into that Courthouse when she is FINALLY kicked out. He name (maiden) has taken her far enough on the public teet! Vote HER OUT!

    I HAVE TO SAY AFTER AN EXPERIENCE WITH JUDGE CHOLAKIS RULING THIS WOMAN IS EXTREMELY VERBALLY ABUSIVE, THREATING, ARROGANT AND HAS NO BUSINESS IN ANY POSITION IN WHICH FUELS HER DISTGUSTING POWER TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
